Gregory Kunde Making Another Big Career Move

This summer, Gregory Kunde is officially making another big move in his career.

You’ve heard Gregory Kunde on the opera stage, but now you have the chance to hear him as he goes back to his roots and reinvents songs from the best of the American song repertory.

Fulfilling a childhood dream, Greg is offering the public a sneak peek at what's next for "the tenor who never stops." He will present a 70 minute program of jazz and selections from The Great American Songbook, accompanied by the John G Smith Trio.

London's Brasserie Zedel will host Greg and ensemble for two shows on Wednesday, 14 August, at 19:00 and 21:15. Tickets are still available online at the Brasserie Zedel.

Gregory has teamed up with the versatile pianist John G Smith to create fresh arrangements of some of the great standards of the American Songbook, soon to be released as an album, with a world class rhythm section. Ranging from ballad to swing, Kunde brings a fresh new take on familiar tunes of the golden age of American songwriting.

Hear the great standards interpreted by one of the most versatile singers performing today. If you know Greg's operatic work, you know he is an artist of the highest calibre. If you hear Greg's jazz work, you'll be amazed at the authenticity and range that he brings to yet another genre of music.

Join Gregory on 14 August in London, at the Brasserie Zedel for this landmark occasion and an evening you won't want to miss.
